Book: Authentication Process
In the book, we are focusing on three perspectives of connecting us, the Believer to a life of purpose:
1. Birth of a renewed mind: aligning our thoughts to God's Word and purpose for our lives
2. Standing on your square: recognizing the importance of what is required of us as we navigate life and its many distractions
3. Following Christ: our challenges and struggles should be catalysts for our spiritual growth
Being a Believer and living a life of purpose is a process. Along, the way there are connections that we may miss. Today, we focus on the perspective of "Following Christ" and its importance in our lives.

Chapter 15: Bitterness
Connecting the dots: Bitterness seems justified at first, maybe even comforting. But in truth, bitterness is a destructive emotion that blinds your perspective while leading you along a path of self-righteousness.
Note 1: Be careful and guard your heart. Hate seems to be everywhere, distracting us from our true purpose.
Chapter 16: Prayer and Meditation
Connecting the dots: I have never won any battles by my own efforts. All of my battles have been won by prayer.
Note 2: You need to have a conversation with God. Tell Him what is bothering you. Tell Him what you are afraid of. Tell Him what you need. You cannot get over this obstacle until you surrender your problem and your life to God. He is waiting for you to offer this sacrifice. Nothing will be as it should until you offer God your problems and your life. You are wrestling with spiritual beings (Ephesians 6:12) that are determined to distract you from your purpose. But you must look beyond that and realize that Satan knows you have power and authority directly from Jesus Christ. If you continue to allow Satan to distract you, you will never realize the authority you have been given by God through Jesus Christ to change the circumstances in your life. So humble yourself and have a conversation with God; then listen for the Holy Spirit to give you revelation and direction.
