John 5:8, Jesus said to him, "Get up, pick up your pallet and walk."
You have been down a long time. You are wounded and broken from the past.
Maybe you are sad, with long nights of regret.
Maybe you are lonely and there is no one left for you.
You have given more than you have received.
Life did not work out as you planned.
You scream, but no one hears you.
There are many days you would like to forget.
You contemplate what's next, will you make it through.
But God, get up!
You cannot linger where you are.
Make the decision to get up and answer God's call.
There is so much life beyond your circumstances and wounded heart.
God offers you healing - not just for your body, but for your mind and broken heart. But first you have to position yourself with an open heart and mind to receive what He has to offer - the greatest love you have ever known and His son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
This I know for myself, God's Word heals all wounds and gives life to the dead areas of our lives.
So get up and walk into your purpose and God's plans for your life.
