I finished reading Ezekiel Chapter 7 this morning and the Children of Israel discovered a path of sin, wickedness beyond every measure, in my opinion because they were full of themselves and thought they could do no wrong. Even when prophets were sent by God to tell them over and over again, they would not even consider that they were wrong. They were so comfortable and blinded in their own perceived power, they sought counsel from the Prophet Ezekiel and their elders, not for repentance but for a way for things to get better - but without acknowledging their sins nor commitment to God to do better.
It's amazing how an advance degree can drive some people to madness. Because of their education and skill levels, they put themselves on social pedestals and believe that they have power to be their own god. This is the same mindset of Lucifer and Adam and Eve that led to wickedness.
Use you education, talents and gifts to advance God's plans on earth,
but don't ever think that your plan and vision is greater than God's.
You will eventually see that is not the case. God has the power and glory, we are simply vessels, educated or not, here to answer His call and to do His will.
