Reading Ezekiel 11 this morning and came across a commentary that presented the thought that the Children of Israel by their failure to realize the extent of damage caused by their sin, its impact on their relationship with God and and the distortion of their thinking lead them into captivity - first sa captive within their own minds, captives of their sins and then captives of their enemies.
The Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3-5, that we are to take every thought captive, "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,"
We all have thoughts and fears that hold us back from God's plan. Spend some time today and consider what has taken you and your thoughts into captivity.
